We are doctors, health leaders, and professionals from various areas of healthcare, who are alert and extremely concerned by the way things are going in Brazil. We are on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe, the worst in our history

 

The press and the social networks have failed to show what really happens in the ICUs and Emergency Rooms, as well as in every healthcare institution across Brazil. This scenario has led to the creation of this group, which aims to promote awareness by exposing the reality of the situation. It will be a source of reliable information and will touch every man and woman in Brazil to encourage them to take protective measures and to avoid crowds, thus protecting themselves and their loved ones, and preventing the worsening of a situation that is already a tragedy.

 

It is time to look beyond the numbers. As long as vaccination pace does not speed up dramatically anyone can die  simply because there will be no room for treatment and, therefore, nor chances to be treated. This affects those who have COVID-19, but also those who needs hospitalization for any other reason. We will show you a little bit of this reality. Everyone should play a major role in turning things around, which involves taking the necessary preventive measures such as wearing face masks, avoiding crowds, and keeping social withdrawal as much as possible.
